Three-track release · 1 October 2026
Sheer Dominion
Aurelia Vale feat. Jacqueline L Waters on Piano.
The world behind the voice
The music opens
the door back in.
Sheer Dominion began with a piano melody Jacqueline L Waters wrote and played during the 2020 lockdowns. Years later, she recovered that performance from her archives and built this piano-led pop/rock recording around it.
Aurelia Vale began inside the pages of the novel Jacqueline wrote as Vesper Denier. Now the character's voice and her creator's own piano performance meet in one recording.
This recording opens the door back into that world: to Nyla Voss, Vanessa Veyraine, Catherine Whitmore, and the House they build around desire, authority, choice, work, and belonging.
It is not a summary of the book. It is an invitation into its central question: what happens when the person who commands the room must finally allow herself to be known inside it?
Jacqueline L Waters on Piano
Written into
the keys.
The main melody and solo were never intended for release. Jacqueline's original playing carries the small hesitations, uneven timing, and touch of a person living through an uncertain moment.
Jacqueline also writes as Vesper Denier, the author of the novel that first held Aurelia's story. Her piano joins those two forms of the same creative world: the woman who wrote the room is also the musician playing beneath the voice that emerged from it.
The supporting arrangement was built around that original performance. Its imperfections remain part of the song's character: the musician's life is still there in the keys.
The next movement
Three songs.
One line forward.
Sheer Dominion arrives as a three-track release, bringing Aurelia's first two singles forward without replacing them.
